Position Description

The ERP System Specialist will collaborate with senior managers to determine which business processes need optimization, enhance the performance of our IT systems, and deploy and implement suitable ERP solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting in installation, configuration, testing, and maintaining of system updates.
• Participating in the analysis, evaluation, configuration, and alignment of the ERP software to ensure end-user requirements and objectives are met within the Socomore core model.
• Preparing periodic reports to assist users.
• Monitoring system operations to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Collaborating with the IT administrators and database administrators to ensure system security and data integrity.
• Training users in how to use the system.
• Providing timely and professional support and assistance when needed.
• Assisting in selecting and suggesting improvements and related software.
• Attending training, seminars, and meetings as necessary to maintain and enhance job knowledge and skills.
• Aiding in other activities not listed above but directly related to ERP system utilization.

=> Possibility of a specific contract for a junior profile: International Company Volunteering (VIE)  as ERP Administrator

Key Qualifications:

• Has the availability to train for 1-2 months in France
• Has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science, or related fields
• Holds 1+ years experience as an ERP specialist in a related industry.
• Preferably has experience in business administration, project management, or a related field.
• Is knowledgeable of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes, including some knowledge of SQL and performing database queries.
• Has excellent organizational and time management skills and can prioritize the workload.
• Is knowledgeable of IT security best practices.
• Possesses excellent communication skills.
• Has fantastic written and verbal skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Is a self-driven and motivated problem solver with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Is able to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
• Can respect privacy and confidentiality when working with sensitive data.
